Purpose

The UseAzureSQLDatabase parameter specifies that the RPS database is an Azure SQL database.

Setting this parameter to true also sets the -e and -m flags in the generated Bulk Copy Program (BCP) scripts. In the BCP script, the:

• -e flag specifies a file to which any rows that fail to copy are logged, allowing you to review and troubleshoot errors. The log file is output to the directory specified by the scriptFilePath parameter of the JadeDatabaseAdmin class rpsExtractDataAzure method (this is the same directory to which the bcp_output.log is output).

• -m flag sets the maximum number of allowable row‑level errors before the bulk copy operation is canceled. The default value is zero (0), but this can be set or changed by using the AzureBcpMaxErrors initialization file parameter.
