Using an SSL Security Library Protocol
You can connect to external systems from JADE by using an SSL library protocol instead of the TCP/IP protocol when the
JadeSSLContext connections use digital certificates in X.509 format, which are written to disk in Privacy‑Enhanced Electronic Mail (PEM)-encoded certificate (PEM) format. The transient
SSL is a secure communication protocol on top of an already established TCP/IP connection.
SSL libraries are generated from publicly available third‑party sources, maintained by the OpenSSL Group (www.openssl.org). JADE supports TLS version 1, TLS version 1.1, and TLS version 1.2.
