Initiating the Reorganization Transition
When you reorganize a schema and uncheck the Initiate transition check box in the Classes Needing Reorg dialog (for details, see the previous section), the Reorg message box is displayed when the database reorganization is ready to initiate the transition.
To initiate the reorganization transition

Select the Reorg command from the Schema menu.

Select the Initiate Transition command from the submenu that is then displayed. The Classes Needing Reorg dialog is then displayed, with the Initiate transition check box checked and disabled.

Click the Reorg button. Alternatively, click the Cancel button to abandon the reorganization.

When the reorganization transition is complete, a message box advises you of the reorganization completion status.
