The app argument specifies the name of the non‑GUI application that you want to run.

This argument must be an application of type ApplicationType_Non_GUI_Web or ApplicationType_Non_GUI that is defined in the schema argument, and it must be specified if you are installing a non‑GUI client application service or you are running the jadclient program from the command prompt.
