If you return an object that has a reference to another object, the related object is also returned as part of the XML or JSON response. This can result in an excessively large response.
All property values are returned, including nulls.
If the method returns a string that is already encoded in XML format (that is, starting with <?xml), the XML string is sent as it is, without further encoding.
