The optional excludeFrozenFiles parameter enables you to specify that frozen (read-only) files are excluded from the backup or restore operation when using the backup, restore, or restoreFile command.
When you specify the excludeFrozenFiles parameter for the restoreFile command, it has an effect only when that restore file is processing the _control.dat file.
